I love this place.. The owners are so nice..I drive 1.5 just to get the blue crabs. Never go wrong with Carriggs. I have been going there for seafood for 6 years.

This place makes you feel right at home every time. The owner is always there, very hands on, and one of the sweetest souls. The seafood, rather it be a fried basket, or a order of steamed seafood is always a win. If your a local or a visitor, you'll get authentic Charleston SC seafood. Came in town again, and was greeted with the warmest friendliest smile from Celeste and Cricket. Home Sweet Home

I took my mother there, we both had seafood platters, and they were cooked to perfection. Very pleased with the customer service, and the food today won me over again.

No doubt, if this review was strictly on the food and service it would be FIVE STARS but while the food was very good the smokers weren't expected. (If you have a problem with cigarette smoke, get carry out!) Both my husband and I ordered the shrimp, fish, and fries. All fried. VERY yummy. Unfortunately, they were all out of crab but it was 5pm so that's expected. The food was so yummy in fact that we didn't even get pictures but we both walked out with full bellies!
